Genuine Eco

Let’s talk about “Genuine Eco”?

The project “Genuine Eco” is a campaign to create awareness and inspire a
culture concern on the problems arising from environmental pollution. This
campaign aims to educate, share and bring about behavioural changes that
will encourage sustainability into the community. This in turn will eventually
create a positive impact on the conservation of the environment and people’s
health. The use of natural resources in an unsustainable manner will have a
negative impact on the environment. Major environmental concerns like
pollution, global warming, acid rain, overpopulation, waste disposal and
deforestation is a result of the improper management of these natural resources.
This reason to create a sustainable event is to minimise the resources used
that will result in a cleaner breathing and less polluted environment. As such,
use of skills and creativity in graphic design to highlight and design products
in line with the environmental issues by developing the “recyclable by design”
concept and promoting the eco-designs approach. Designers need to
play a role to reduce these negative impacts by incorporating these
environmental concerns when working on designs.

Who is our target audience?

R&P

What does Going Green means?

"Going green" means to pursue knowledge and practices that can lead to more environmentally friendly and ecologically responsible decisions and lifestyles, which can help protect the environment and sustain its natural resources for current and future generations.

Idea Sketches and Progression

The target audience of the campaign would be families, friends and the
community. It would be a good chance to educate the older generation who is not tech-savvy to be more informed about the environment and the need to protect the planet. Sharing the campaign will raise the profile of the issue and a chance to be more aware of sustainable concerns.
